Candlelight Snowshoe Hike

Candlelight Snowshoe Hike  5pm – 8pm Come join us at the MacKenzie Center for a fun Friday night of hiking and snowshoeing. A limited number of snowshoes are available to borrow, or you can bring your own! This is a weather-dependent activity and can be canceled if snow conditions are not met. Please park in the Lodge parking lot.

Friends Board Meeting

The Friends of MacKenzie Board of Directors meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month in the Finishing House.  All meetings are open, so feel free to join us if you’re interested. *Note:  This meeting traditionally moves because the Finishing House hosts Maple Education on Tuesdays in March.

Maple Festival and Pancake Breakfast

Come learn about how maple sugar and syrup was made by Native Americans and pioneers, as well as current methods used today. There will be live music, food, horse drawn wagon rides, interpretative displays, and much more! A pancake breakfast, sponsored by the Friends of MacKenzie will be served from 8 a.m. until noon at the Main Lodge for purchase ($8 adults, $5 ages 3-11).  For more information, check out the Friends FaceBook page.

Dear Maple Education Volunteers, The Maple Education Program Clean Up Day will be Tuesday April 9th from 9am – 10am. We will clean and pack up all of the maple materials for hibernation until the next maple season. At about 10:00 AM, some of the MacKenzie Staff will host a thank you pancake brunch in the MacKenzie Lodge. We hope you can join us!  This is also the time you’ll receive your pints of maple syrup as a thank you for your volunteer…
