Wolf Moon Hike
Wolf Moon Hike: 5:30-7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022 Come experience the natural world under the glow of the first full moon of the year called the “Wolf Moon.” We will hike through our restored prairies, practice our observation skills and warm ourselves by the campfire. Candlelight Snowshoe Hike
Candlelight Snowshoe Hike: Drop-in from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4, 2022 Join us at the MacKenzie Center for a fun Friday night of hiking and snowshoeing on our illuminated path. A limited number of snowshoes are available to borrow, or you can bring your own! Please park in the Lodge parking lot. If there is excessive wind, snow, or ice, these events may be canceled.

Tracks and Scat: 2-3:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 25, 2022 Which wild critters have been active this winter at MacKenzie Center? Let’s learn together as we explore and identify tracks and scat using MacKenzie’s educational materials on a guided hike. Remember to dress for the weather. MacKenzie Maple Festival Saturday, April 2, 2022, 8 am – 2 pm
Celebrate Spring! Come learn about past and present maple sugaring practices. Drop in for a little while or stay all day! Event is free (other than food purchases). Lots of spring maple activities throughout the day (8am -2pm). Live music, horse drawn wagon rides, interpretative displays, scavenger hunt, ice cream, and more!
