The Friends of MacKenzie are group of people just like you, citizens who have the desire to give a part of themselves to a worthwhile cause. It is a group of volunteers whose purpose is to encourage, perpetuate and promote environmental education in Wisconsin.

Established in 1978, the Friends have had a significant impact on preserving our natural resources by supporting education programs in the Poynette area. The Friends have collaborated with many partners over the years and
currently collaborate with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources to support the MacKenzie Center.

The Friends of MacKenzie is a tax-exempt, non-profit organization. Memorials, gifts, bequests, and other donations greatly help us fulfill our mission.
