Girl Scouts Love State Parks

Join scouts nationwide in celebrating your state parks this weekend. As part of a statewide partnership, MacKenzie is welcoming scouts to participate in a morning stewardship project removing buckthorn and learning about invasive species (please wear long pants, sleeves and closed toed shoes).

Scheduled programs will be held at noon, 1:15, and 2:15 p.m. with presentations from MacKenzie’s master falconer and his red-tailed hawk, Navi, guided wildlife tours, and an animal signs & camouflage hike. Drop-in events will also be available with educators throughout the afternoon.
