Learn to Teach Wildlife Tours and Museum Tours

August 24, 2016 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Red fox in the snow

We’re looking for volunteers to help with educational programs at the MacKenzie Center.  If you love kids and nature, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.  By attending this session you’ll learn the curriculum the MacKenzie Center staff has developed to help visitors learn about the Wisconsin wildlife featured in our wildlife area (e.g. wolves, coyotes, fox, badger, otter, eagle and many more).  You’ll also learn about our Conservation Museum.  Then you can help when a group visits MacKenzie and is interested in these parts of the property.  If you can’t attend the training, but are interested email Chris Tall to arrange a separate training.  Training to teach Pond Study (August 22, 10 am – noon), Geocaching (August 22, 1 – 3 pm),  and Survival Skills — Shelter and Fire Building (August 24, 1 – 3 pm) is also available.
