Fall Festival Volunteer Page

This year’s Friends of MacKenzie Fall Festival is Saturday, TBA from 10am-2pm (with a rain date of Sunday). With that being said we are beginning volunteer recruitment and collecting of donations. Please email us back at MCeventvolunteers@gmail.com to secure your volunteer spot. When emailing us back please include which position you are/might be interested in and if you are also available for our rain date of October.

Here are the different positions you can choose from:
  • Archery (must be 18 years or older)
  • Leaf Rubbings
  • Craft Tables
  • Compass Skills
  • Fire Building
  • Pond Study
  • Fishing/Casting
  • Crossing Guard
  • Wood-cutting
  • Face-Painting
  • Hayride Attendant
  • Hayride Guide
  • Temporary Tattoos
  • Food Ticket Sales (must be a Friends of MacKenzie Member)
  • Baked Goods Table (must be a Friends of MacKenzie Member)
  • 50/50 Raffle (must be a Friends of MacKenzie Member)
  • Front Gate Greeter (must be a Friends of MacKenzie Member)
  • Parking
  • Food Stand
  • Popcorn
  • Smokey Bear
  • Smokey Bear Attendant
  • Fur and Skulls Table Attendant

For those who prefer a sitting volunteer position; leaf rubbings, craft tables, temporary tattoos, face-painting, baked goods table, and potentially 50/50 raffle are all positions that would accommodate that.

If you are unfamiliar with a position or would like more information please feel free to email MCeventvolunteers@gmail.com with any questions you might have. It may also be possible for you to come out to the MacKenzie Center before the event to learn more about what you would be doing.

As for donation items, we are looking for places or individuals that would be willing to donate straw bales, crafting items, pumpkin decorated leaf bags, gourds, soybeans, feed corn, candy, baked goods, and corn stalks. If you have any of these items please email MCeventvolunteers@gmail.com to set up a time to drop them off. Drop off days closer to the event would work better but please let us know if you have the items as early as possible!

This event takes hundreds of volunteers to make it successful, so please feel free to forward this email to other friends, family members, and co-workers who might be interested in volunteering. We rely on word of mouth to help recruit volunteers.

We look forward to hearing from you all soon!
Sincerely,
The Fall Fest Committee
