Training begins February 18th, and Maple Education begins March 4th.

February 18 – Maple Volunteer Registration Closes

February 11 – Forms Sent Out
If you would like to complete your background check, volunteer agreement, and vehicle use agreement forms ahead of the Maple training day, they will be sent out over email. We will also have physical copies available the day of Maple volunteer training.
*Only collectors, cookers, or finishers using UTVs need to complete a vehicle use agreement*

February 18 – Maple Volunteer Training – In Person 9am-12pm
This training will cover some of the how-to’s of volunteering for maple, and will also include badge photos, volunteer sign ups, and paperwork. It will also have an optional Maple walkthrough for those who are seeing it for the first time or would like a refresher. This walkthrough is the second portion of the general volunteer training. Lunch will be provided for all volunteers attending the training.

February 18 – Maple Guide Training – In Person 1pm-3pm
This training will cover information for Guides not provided at the general training. It will cover key subjects taught during the upper program, as well as focus on appropriate language and interaction with students. Guides can either attend this in-person training or the online one on the 25th . They will cover the same information.

February 25 – Maple Volunteer Training – Online 9am-12pm
This online training will cover some of the how-to’s of volunteering for maple and information for Guides. Volunteers can either attend this online training or the in-person one on the 18th. The link to this training will be sent out via email.

February 28 – Maple Program Set-up Day

March 4 – Students arrive for Maple Education
April 3 – Last day of Maple Education
April 4 – Maple Festival Set-up Day
April 5 – Maple Festival Event – 9am-2pm
April 7 – Maple Program Clean-up and Volunteer Breakfast
