First Day of Maple Program

Students and groups will begin coming to MacKenzie to learn the biology of maple trees and the history of tapping the trees to obtain sap to make into sugar and syrup.  Groups will have the opportunity to tap a tree and even get a taste of pure “MacKenzie Gold” at the end of the tour.  Tours of approximately 2 hrs. are offered in the morning and afternoon every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in March.  The first day to call in for reservations is Feb. 1 at 7:15 am, first come, first served.
